I tend to set up a basic rhythm on a drum kit, then play bass or guitar over that. Second, because it’s pretty much a transistor-by-transistor model of the actual Harrison consoles, it imparts a certain mojo that’s hard to describe, but undeniable when you’re listening to it. Each track is a complete channel strip, with excellent EQ and compression built in.

First, the interface and design (both UI and the conceptual model) is very similar to a proper studio console, complete with routing tables and whatnot.
